Free Shipping: Friday Trails offers free shipping for most orders valued at $250 or more (before taxes) within the Contiguous United States. Orders under $250 will have a flat shipping fee of $30.

Oversized Products: Some oversized items, such as rooftop tents and awnings, require Less-than-truckload (LTL) freight, which will incur additional charges not covered by our Free Shipping policy. These fees will be clearly indicated at checkout.

Shipping Areas: Currently, we only ship within the Contiguous United States. However, if you’re outside this area and eager for a great deal on a high-quality tent, reach out to us—we'll do our best to accommodate you. Additional shipping fees will apply.

Order Processing Time: Typically, orders are processed and shipped within 2-4 business days of placement. Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with tracking information. Note that it may take up to 24 hours for the courier to update the tracking status.

Tracking & Delivery

Where to Find It: Your tracking number will be generated once your product ships from our warehouse. This information will be emailed to you using the address provided at checkout. If you have not received tracking details after 4 days, please contact our customer support for assistance.

Delivery: Delivery times vary depending on the warehouse location, typically taking 10-15 business days. If shipping times are delayed due to low inventory or other issues, we will notify you promptly and suggest alternative solutions.

Delivery Dates: Delivery dates may vary from the tracking information provided. If you notice significant delays, please contact our team, and we’ll assist you. Please note that products may arrive in separate shipments if they are sourced from multiple warehouses.

Product Availability

Availability: All orders are subject to product availability and may change without notice. Once an order is placed, we will verify product availability. If a product is unavailable or backordered, we will void the payment and contact you. We will make every effort to find a suitable solution.

Oversized Products

Oversized items such as rooftop tents, racks, and awnings exceed the limits for standard ground shipping and require truck or LTL freight delivery. These shipments may take additional time, but we will do our best to expedite delivery. For LTL freight deliveries, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery date. These items must be signed for by an adult (18+), and ID may be required.

Lift Gate Availability: A lift gate may not be available on the delivery truck. In this case, you (or a designated person) may need to assist in unloading the items from the truck. Note that rooftop tents may weigh over 200 lbs. Handle with care to prevent accidental damage, which is not covered by warranty.

Delivery Scheduling & Acceptance

If the Carrier Does Not Contact You: The carrier typically calls one day prior or on the day of delivery to schedule a drop-off. However, this does not always happen. Please monitor your tracking information closely and be prepared to accept the delivery, even if no call is received. You can also contact the carrier to confirm delivery details.

Inability to Accept Delivery: If you are unavailable to accept the delivery, you may incur "failed attempt" and storage fees from the carrier. After multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts, the item will be returned to the warehouse, and you will be responsible for return shipping fees and a 20% restocking fee.

Requirement to Be Home for Delivery: Oversized shipments via LTL freight must be accepted by the customer without delay. Delays will incur daily storage fees, which must be paid by the customer. The freight company usually contacts you a day in advance to schedule delivery. Be attentive to delivery dates in your tracking information.

Standard Shipments: Non-oversized items do not require a signature and may be left at the door or in a mailbox.

Delivery Instructions

Inspection Upon Delivery: You are responsible for inspecting your order at delivery before signing. Carefully examine the packaging for any signs of damage, tears, or rough handling. Ensure that all items and accessories are present before signing. Signing constitutes acceptance of the product in good condition and releases liability from the carrier.

If Damage is Detected: If you observe damage, refuse the delivery and do not sign the bill of lading. Take clear photos of the damage from multiple angles, as well as of the bill of lading or delivery receipt. Report the damage to the carrier immediately.  After reporting to the carrier, notify us via email at info@fridaytrails.com and by phone (213-302-7549) within 24 hours of delivery refusal.  Include photos of the damage and bill of lading in your email so we can file a claim and arrange a replacement.

Minor Damage: If damage appears minor and you believe it has not affected the product, you may accept delivery with caution. Request the delivery driver to note the damage on the bill of lading and provide an "Exception Number.” Take photos of the damage and retain a copy of the bill of lading. If the driver refuses to comply, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately, following the instructions above.

Post-Acceptance Inspection: Immediately after accepting delivery, open the package and inspect the contents. If damage is found, report it to the carrier and to us at Friday Trails via email and phone within 24 hours of acceptance. Retain the delivery receipt and original packaging. Provide photos and details of the damage to initiate a claim.  Do not use or install the item until the issue is resolved, or your claim may be denied.

Missing Parts & Accessories

After accepting delivery, inspect the package to ensure all parts, accessories, and spare items are included. If anything is missing, report it to the carrier and us at Friday Trails within 24 hours. Keep the delivery receipt and packaging materials. We will assist in filing a claim and arranging a replacement for the missing items.

Return Policy

Not satisfied with your recent purchase? We understand that sometimes things
don’t go as planned, and we're here to help make it right. We offer a 30-day
return policy from the date of delivery. Items must be in new, unused condition
and in the original packaging. For rooftop tents, any included bedding must
remain unopened in the factory packaging. Please note that all returns are
subject to a 20% restocking fee, plus round-trip shipping costs to and from
your address.

Exception: Products from 23Zero have a 10-day return window.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@fridaytrails.com.
Once your return is approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label and
instructions on where to send your package. Please be aware that unauthorized
returns sent directly to us or the original manufacturer will be refused and
returned to the sender. We recommend using shipping services that offer
tracking and insurance, as we are not liable for products lost or damaged
during shipping.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or modify an order, please call us as soon as possible
to avoid additional charges. All cancellations are subject to a 6%
administration fee. If your order has already shipped, you will be responsible
for return shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee.

Additional Terms

If you sign for and accept a damaged delivery without the delivery driver noting the damage on the Delivery Receipt and/or Freight Bill and fail to provide photographic evidence of the damage taken at the time of delivery, Friday Trails is not liable for replacement costs, freight loss, damages, or missing pieces.

Authorizing the freight company to deliver without your signature, or leaving instructions for delivery without your signature, will be treated as acceptance of the delivery in good condition. Therefore, Friday Trails is not responsible for any replacement costs, damages, missing items, or theft.

Some courier services (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) may deliver items without prior notification or ringing the doorbell, preventing inspection or signing of the delivery receipt. If this occurs, please photograph the package from all angles to document any damage. Follow the guidelines in the section above to help us file a claim.
